Digital Crossing, inc. was started in November of 2000 by Tatum Farmer. Mr. Farmer's mission was to bridge the digital divide in Philadelphia by providing low-cost computers to non-profit community organizations as well as low-income families.

The company further grew to incorporate internet services which has become the company's main revenue stream.

The future for Digital Crossing, as the company reviews internet web technologies, is to become not merely a internet services company but a consultant to business for the leveraging of the internet as a viable business resource.
